The Line of Swallows
La Line of Swallows is a 123 km railway line, from north to south, linking Dole to Saint-Claude.
We invite you to take part of the route to discover astonishing views through the train's bay windows.
Departure from Saint-Laurent in Grandvaux for a trip to Saint-Claude, passing through Morez and its viaducts, then along the Bienne valley.
Magnificent 38 km rail journey through the landscapes of Haut Jura Regional Nature Park.
Two options are available to you :
- In "free formula": buy your train tickets online or from the ticket machine at the station. The train runs every day of the year: you are free to choose the day and time that suits you, but be careful, you will not have explanation during the journey.
- In "accompanied formula": guided tours, visits to towns or museums, restaurants, crafts... the options from Dole, Champagnole, Saint-Laurent-en-Grandvaux, Morez and Saint-Claude are numerous and varied : download the brochure here.
