The Tailoring

In 1988, Gilbert Duraffourg, a lapidary and diamond craftsman, created his workshop, La Taillerie, which Valérie then took over in 2010. With some basic knowledge of cutting, acquired by her father who did not wish to pass on his know-how to her, she then learned the profession of gemologist. Holder of an international diploma from the prestigious Gem-A, stones hold no secrets for Valérie.

She will be able to advise you on the purchase of a gem depending on what you are looking for: creation of a piece of jewelry, investment, collection, search for a color, a shape, a specific stone, etc., ... Large selection of unmounted stones to discover in the store, and many stones available on request thanks to a contact network across the world.

She has also been able to form partnerships with French jewelers to offer tailor-made and unique creations. Come draw, imagine, transform or create a piece of jewelry in your image. Some jewelry is presented in store to give you ideas, creations which are on sale in store or on the website.

The world of stones is a vast and broad domain, Valérie is present on site to answer all your questions about a stone, about the profession, a color, the ethics of gems, a country, a geopolitical context, etc.,. In addition, each year it highlights a stone to precisely present all its characteristics but also its specificities.
