Recommended parking: Haut des cascades car park, Ilay Departure : Haut car park, Ilay Difficulty : Difficult Directions to follow: From the Saut Girard - Lac d'Ilay car park, carefully cross the D39 towards the starting point of the hike which begins with a stony path. From here the route is very well signposted. Just follow the signs Hérisson Cascades Trail - Down - Maison des Cascades for the driveway and Towards the Top - Parking du Haut for the return. On your way, four interpretation panels provide historical information about this remarkable natural site:
The portion between the waterfall "Le Grand Saut" and "l'Éventail", the last waterfall of the walk, presents a steep drop in altitude with steps. It is however possible to access this last waterfall, considered the most remarkable, from the lower car park where the Maison des Cascades is located.
In winter, the site is generally closed for security reasons.
