Wonders of Grandvaux - 80N

1. On the white path on the left, pass The Janiers Bridge and join La Passerelle.
2. A stop to discover the peat bog is possible on your right (access prohibited for bicycles).
3. After crossing the field, join BISE NEWS NEWS by the tarmac road on the right and head right onto the departmental road towards The Pontet. 
   
4. By a steep steep path, reach the VIEWPOINT ON THE FORT.
5. The path, on the left, joins a forest road. Take it to the left to enter the woods again and arrive at CLÉMENCE BARQUE.
6. Turn right on the forest road, pass La Joux behind and arrive at THE BEZ.
7. Go around the lake by La Motte to arrive at the place called ABBEY IN GRANDVAUX.
8. Pass the Abbaye en Grandvaux car park for a few tens of meters before turning two consecutive times to the right to gain height until you reach LA TERAILLA and  The horns. A forest trail will take you to the MILL BELVEDERE.
9. Continue the route on a succession of forest trails and white paths, via The Great Curtil.
10. Once again a relief for experienced mountain bikers leads to the belvedere of the VIRGIN OF CUVET (do not hesitate to get off the bike).
11. Join us CHATEAU DES PRES via the marked paths along the edge of the housing estates then turn right towards The Loye.
12. On your left, begin crossing the Bois des Prélions and approach, after Panties, from the Douillons belvedere.
13. The passage along the edge of the peat bog takes you to MEADOW LIME, which you cross untilAt the Petit Pont.
14. On your left, a succession of more or less steep climbs until Duchet Wood allows you to access the DUCHET BELVEDERE then join carefully Under Duchet.
15. Turn left to find The Ridge the forest road and very quickly the Pont de l'Arête on your right.
16. A Cramoiron, cross the pastures then THE PIARDS until the start of the hikes.
17. Follow the direction of PRENOVEL : pass through The Eight Forks et La Brire. Near the swin golf course, cross the forest road with caution.
18. Join us PRENOVEL on the right after THE ROCKS.

Take care when crossing roads, on steep terrain when approaching the Belvedere of the Virgin of Ecuvet and on the descent after the Belvedere of Duchet.

This route crosses pastures with livestock. Also for the respect of the owners and operators who authorize you to pass, for the peace of livestock and wildlife, you are invited to stay on the marked trails. Use the passages provided to cross the fences and make sure to close the barriers.

In the bog and surrounding meadows the wildflowers are beautiful, they can be rare and protected and often fade quickly. Don't pick them! They will delight future hikers.

In the event of forestry work (felling, skidding, etc.), for your safety, know how to give up and turn around.
