La Combe de Prénovel - 83V
- Join Us The Rochats (MTB marking n° 83 green) via a grassy path then take the forest road on the right to quickly reach the life of the jays.
- Go up the path on the right which runs through the grassy valley, passing through the Troughs Vuillomets, TOWER LIFE, to join The Beef Horn.
- Take the small path which goes off to the right and which leads to the Cuinets.
- Turn right onto a forest path which leads to Chalet du Bief Plotet. Continue on the forest path towards BISE NEWS NEWS for about ten meters then turn left onto a farm road.
- Arrived at BISE NEWS NEWS, carefully cross the D28 and continue straight towards La Passerelle.
- A small road goes down to the hamlet of Belbenoits, then a dirt road branches off to the left, transforming into a grassy path through fields until Gateway.
- Cross the wooden footbridge which leads to the Crossroads of the Reaches. If you wish to do the Nanchez peat bog trail, please get off your bike and take the platform (easy round trip of around 30 minutes). On the way back, take the white path towards THE BOG, and continue until Cotat Bossu.
- Take the white path which goes down to Janiers Bridge. Turn left and return to the village of PRENOVEL via Vine.
The discovery of the Nanchez peat bog is done on foot.
For a mountain bike outing, wear a helmet and bring enough water.
The paths are shared with pedestrians and horseback riders, who have priority, so you should adapt and control your speed.
To use the mountain bike passages, do not hesitate to get off the bike.
This route crosses pastures and follows forest paths. Also for the respect of the owners, for the tranquility of livestock and wildlife, you are invited to stay on the marked trails and to close the barriers in the event of no mountain bike passage.
Wildflowers are beautiful, they can be rare and protected and often wilt quickly. Don't pick them! They will delight the next admirers.
In the event of forestry work (felling, skidding, etc.), for your safety, know how to give up and turn around.
