Departure : Chaux-des-Prés village center Difficulty : Easy-to-use Directions to follow: The departure is at MEADOW LIME, opposite the old PTT building, in front of the octagonal structure covered with tavaillon.
- Start the Combe Dijon route (blue VTT 85 markings) by following the direction of Château des Prés, via the tarmac path to the left of the fountain.
- At the first intersection, leave the white path on your right to go around and then follow the grassy path along the Tourbière des Douillons for 600 meters.
- A steep stony then grassy climb allows you to access the intersection The Douillons, where MTB routes 85 and 86 separate.
- Go to your right to quickly find the Belvédère des Douillons, where a complete view of the village of Chaux des prés awaits you: in the foreground the peat bog, behind the village and in the background the forest.
- Continue in the same direction then leave the track going right to continue on the hilly ridge for 1 km and arrive, after a good descent, in the pastures.
- By staying on the right, you will find a forest path that is still hilly and technical with the succession of turns proposed before arriving at In Courète. After 100 meters towards CHAUX DES PRES, the white path allows you to return to the Departmental Road towards Saint Lupicin.
- Cross with caution to take this road on your left for 300 meters, before turning right onto the Faicle forest road, towards Prénovel.
- After 160 meters, leave the forest road to enter the forest. The route continues between forest and pastures: don't forget to close the fences.
- Leave the last pasture to return via the asphalt road to the Croix de Lorraine then The Little Bridge. Return to the starting point through the village.
