The valley of Grandvaux - 98B
- Enter the pasture and turn immediately right to reach the crossroads Camping. Continue on the grassy path on the left, then via a white path towards the Maisonettes.
- Turn right and reach the railway passing under a railway tunnel. Continue through the pastures to reach At the Stones and In Fouradon.
- Turn right onto the white path and, from Les Essards, go up the path to the right to arrive at The Jeannezes.
- Take the white path which bends to the left. Go back into the forest Single Rifle. Cross two clearings via grassy and earthy paths to arrive at the Map of Lajoux.
- By a forest path, reach the Terrailla, turn right onto a small asphalt road and emerge onto the D 437 road which you follow to the left to reach theABBEY IN GRANDVAUX.
- Continue on the D 437 road and at the exit of the hamlet, take the tarmac road towards the lake. Go around Lac de l'Abbaye to the south and cross the hamlet to the place called THE BEZS.
- Take a small asphalt road on the left through pastures up to the Joux Behind.
- Take the grassy path on the right and reach In Demourey.
- Go left and follow the white path, then the path on the right which leads to THE BOUVETS OF AMONT.
- After 600 m on the D 330 road on the right which goes down in a hairpin, do not miss the white path which goes up to the left in the pastures, to reach the Stone Cross. Follow this path until The Great Fields, then to the right a grassy path.
- At the white path, turn right and reach thees Gayolles. Continue on the path and turn left, a steep and grassy path, to cross the hamlet then carefully take the D 437. Reach the crossroads LES PONCETS.
- Follow the path on the left to arrive at Wind Salava.
- Turn right almost immediately upon arriving at St-Laurent-en-Grandvaux and follow the street to reach the Egg Road. Reach your starting point in the center of the town by ST LAURENT - STATION.
For a mountain bike outing, wear a helmet and bring enough water. The paths are shared with pedestrians and horseback riders, who have priority, so you should adapt and control your speed.
You will have to cross many mountain bike passages, do not hesitate to get off the bike.
This route crosses pastures and follows forest paths. Also for the respect of the owners, for the tranquility of livestock and wildlife, you are invited to stay on the marked trails.
Wildflowers are beautiful, they can be rare and protected and often wilt quickly. Don't pick them! They will delight the next admirers.
In the event of forestry work (felling, skidding, etc.), for your safety, know how to give up and turn around.
