La Trémontagne - 84R
Recommended parking: Annex town hall of Prénovel, Nanchez Departure : Opposite the Le Duchet holiday village in Prénovel Difficulty : Difficult Directions to follow:
- From the parking lot of the Prénovel town hall annex, go back about twenty meters to reach the sign PRENOVEL at the starting point of the hikes.
- Join Us The Rochats (MTB marking n° 84 red) via a grassy path then take the forest road on the right to quickly reach the Life of the Jays.
- Go up the path on the right which runs through the grassy valley, passing through the Troughs Vuillomets.
- Arrived at the end of TOWER LIFE, cross the road to the Col de La Joux to take the grassy path of the Combes de Bise which will take you, after 2 good climbs, to the crossroads of The Ox Horn.
- Turn right to take the Trémontagne forest road and continue for 2 km before turning right to take the white road of Crotchule towards the COMBE DE TREMONTAGNE.
- From the right, take the old La Trémontagne ski slope, which will take you through a wide open wetland before passing under the high voltage line and, below the Bois de la Joux behind, go back down to Plotet Reach Chalet.
- Turn left on the white path to reach BISE PRENOVEL.
- Carefully cross the road at the fountain, to reach, through the valley, La Passerelle that we cross to access The crossing of the reaches and take the path on your right overlooking THE BOG.
- You can leave your bike to explore this landscaped platform on foot, allowing you to immerse yourself in the world of the Tourbière du reach de Nanchez Regional Nature Reserve.
- Continue on Le Cotat Bossu, until joining The Ridge, by the way Under Duchet.
- Arriving on the Route de la Faicle, turn right for 200m then join, after the Pont de l'Arête, Cramoiron.
- Turn left before the water reservoir and then reach the Chapelle des Piards via fields and agricultural paths.
- Cross the hamlet to go back to the old Rouliers hotel restaurant, at the top of the PIARDS.
- On the right, a path leads you, after Les Huit Fourches, to La Brire: another effort to get there!
- Continue on your way before carefully crossing the RD308 then join PRENOVEL by The Rochats.
