Departure : Domaine du Bugnon, Les Thévenins, 39150 Lac-des-Rouges-Truites Difficulty : Difficult Directions to follow:
- From THE BUGNON, the route (red VTT 68 markings) follows the road until Under Mont Noir.
- Turn right to quickly reach a track entering the forest. Cross this forest area alternating narrow technical paths and wider paths to reach THE OLIVE BARN.
- On the right, a continuous climb on a motorable path allows you to reach The rise of the horses.
- The route continues uphill on the right until you reach COMBE DAVID, then by a gentle and continuous descent to the hamlet THE NORBIERE.
- Take the Canadian crossing to cross the pasture and continue on your right through the woods. Some steep and stony passages await you before The Norbière forest.
- A well-deserved break can be taken at BOURG STONE CAVE before returning, through various grassy and fun passages, the Path to the Cave, the Fumey Road and Chiron Path.
- Short ascents and descents alternate until the CROSS OF THE BESSES then a slightly technical descent allows you to reach The Gouilles and the forest shelter.
- Turn left to reach via a small forest path the Crossroads of the Cross, from which we find the forest road allowing us to return to the starting point.
