Moidons caves

It is with deep regret that we inform you that due to a violent fire in our reception building, we will not be able to welcome visitors in the near future. This tragic event caused significant damage to our facilities.

Grand stalagmites, columns, countless stalactites form a picturesque 100% natural masterpiece.

10 minutes from Arbois, discover the most beautiful stalactites of the Jura. The water basins highlighted by spectacular sound and light make the Moidons caves an exceptional site.

The guided and commented tour lasts approximately 50 minutes and includes: the presentation film, the visit to the caves and the bat area with its labyrinth for children.

Open: April to September

The temperature inside the caves is +10°C. We advise you to bring a vest in summer.

The Grottes des Moidons are not subject to flooding. Visits are not disrupted in the event of heavy rain.

Since 2014, a new gallery provides easier access to the caves (visit possible with a stroller).
