A must see!
It is one of the most beautiful lakes in the Jura, set in the forest and dominated by a rocky ridge.
We like to photograph it, contemplate it, rest there or hike around with family. It is also one of the most picturesque lakes in the Jura.
Its body of water, approximately 700 m long and 300 m wide, offers waters full of fish.
Magnificent view from the belvedere of the round. Around 1170, Thibert de Montmorot founded the Chartreuse Notre Dame de Bonlieu on the edge of the lake, in this place conducive to isolation and the search for tranquility.
