A walk to walk with your hands?

Departing from the Atelier des Savoir-Faire car park, the savoir-faire trail is an unusual 3-kilometre walking route (approximately 1h30) between Ravilloles and Cuttura...

Playful works designed by our artisans dot the route and provide an original interpretation of local heritage and know-how.

Follow the “Walking Hands” without hesitation and stroll with your nose in the air and your mind alert, discovering heritage and looking for the works of our artisans: at the bend of a path, in the forest, suspended between 2 trees, let yourself be surprised by the World'loge, the Spinning Top Bridge, the Passion Area, the wood seats or even the Elegant!

Craftsmen who want to help you walk?

A work team, made up of craftsmen and designers guided by a steering committee, reflected on the construction of the project.

This reflection led them to imagine works imbued with the values of Upper Jura craftsmanship (radiation of know-how, passion for the profession, authenticity of the work, etc.).

A walk to do hand in hand?

You enchantingly travel through pastures and forests, follow a river then a lake, and discover numerous heritage elements linked to hydraulic power.

In practice :

The trail is accessible free of charge and suitable for adults and children alike. To find your way, follow the work “les mains wandereuses”, they will show you the route to follow. The walking guide (available free of charge at the reception of the Atelier des savoir-faire) will accompany you all along the way. You can also download and/or print the Trail Map.

Some instructions before departure:

Don't forget your hat, your water bottle and a good pair of walking shoes.

The trail is unfortunately not accessible to strollers or wheelchairs.

Respect nature: please walk on the trail, do not pick plants, throw your trash in the trash cans and keep your pets on a leash.

Be careful with your children, the route has two road crossings and runs along a river.

Do not venture onto the trail during heavy rain or snow.

Respect the works located along the route, they are the fruit of the work of local artisans.

The know-how trail was designed by the Haut-Jura Saint-Claude Community of Communes and the Haut-Jura Regional Natural Park with the support of the Franche-Comté Region and the Jura Massif Commission.
